My Inspiration: the Phoenix

My Inspiration: the Phoenix

The vision for Redemptio Health comes from my own story. I have experienced trauma and deep heartbreak, but I have also experienced healing and transformation. My journey has taught me that the hardest and tragic parts of our story don’t have to define us, they can become the beginning of something beautiful.

Along my journey, I have found inspiration in the timeless story of the Phoenix. It tells the story of a magnificent bird that endures adversity, hardship, and seemingly complete loss as it is consumed by fire until nothing remains but ashes. Yet this is not the end of the story. From those ashes, the Phoenix rises again even stronger and more beautiful and radiant than before.

This story has been a powerful reminder for me that transformation is possible no matter what you’ve walked through. I am passionate about accompanying others discover hope and redemption in their own stories, experiencing the promise of beauty for the ashes (Isaiah 61:3).

To a hurting friend somewhere out there…

At one point, you felt excited and passionate about life, ready for everything.
Then, the bumps and the detours happened.
Maybe they were big or maybe they were small and seemingly insignificant.

If one could get a glimpse of your soul, they would see someone:
carrying heavy burdens that were never meant to be carried,
hurting with broken parts that should be whole,
feeling lost without direction and purpose,
believing the worst with no hope for the future.

I want you to know that I see you.
I feel your pain.
I know how it feels to be alone.
I know how it feels to dread the coming hours and days.
I know how it feels to try to hold it together on the outside while crumbling on the inside.

You made it here.
You are here for a reason.
You can’t choose what happens to you in life.
You can choose how you will respond to it.

Come and be seen – just for who you are.
Come and be known – the whole you without shame.
Rise and be radiant – emerge from the ashes with purpose and beauty.
